Lancia Australia Research Centre.

Squadra Corse Lancia Australia are continuously researching Lancia cars and sources of parts. We have cars listed on our site from all over the world and we often receive inquiries about specific cars.

If you would like to know information about a specific car or have any information about cars listed below please e-mail us. Car history’s help with the uniqueness of each example and there are lots of wonderful stories associated with Lancia’s in Australia.

Currently we are seeking information about some Lancia’s believed to be in Australia:

  • A Gamma Coupe in Hobart. Apparently owned by a Doctor in the late 80’s. Any clues?
  • A Flavia Sport was restored in Perth from 1992 to 2994 and has been offered for sale in Unique Cars and at several auctions. Does anyone know where it is now? We would like to trace the owner.
  • A 1937/38 Lancia Aprilia was according to rumour, stored away in the back of Shields Motors in Melbourne from thatt ime until 1946, when it was brought out, washed and polished, serviced and sold as a new car. Does anyone know any more about this car and sale? Apparently quite a few Aprilia were sold prior to 1939. Does anyone have any idea of numbers?
  • There are 2 Augusta in Adelaide. They were exhibited at the Australian Grand Prix in 1989 or 1990 in a display of classic cars. One was a lovely Berlina, the other a Cabriolet. We would like to get in touch with the owner.
  • The first Flavia Coupe sold by Dick Seers at Lambda Motors in 1964 was a Blu Mendoza, and after being displayed at the Sydney motor Show that year was sold to Randolph Carpenter of the shipping company W.R. Carpenter Pty Ltd. It featured the sedan style elongated strip speedo.
  • Also displayed at the Sydney Motor Show were 3 Fulvia sedans. These were original single carburettor versions type 818.001.One was bright yellow, and was sold to a Finnish chap who took it to Western Australia. Any clues on its fate?
